I'm a visual storyteller and communications professional with more than two decades of experience using photography and video content to tell compelling stories and strengthen brands.
My background spans journalism, travel, health care and higher education, giving me a strong foundation in authentic, people-centered storytelling. I specialize in visual content strategy, photo and video production and digital asset management - from developing the story and coordinating production to distribution and measuring impact.
I currently work in higher education communications, where I lead and support visual storytelling across editorial, marketing, social media, internal communications and media relations. I’m especially interested in finding ways to make visual content work harder, and creating strong stories while building systems, workflows and asset libraries that help organizations get more value from their content.
My roots are in photojournalism, and that perspective continues to shape how I work: look for the human story, pay attention to the color and moments, and create visuals that feel genuine rather than manufactured.
University of Minnesota–Twin Cities graduate with a degree in journalism, focused on photography and French. Colorado based, internationally inclined.
